Ceramic Twisted Rope FENGITEX®

Description

Ceramic twisted rope FENGITEX® is an extremely soft and flexible ceramic fiber gasket. It can be used for continuous temperatures of up to 650°C (glass-fibre reinforced) or up to 1050°C (stainless steel-reinforced).

Ceramic twisted rope has excellent resistance to thermal shock, corrosion and breakdown due to mechanical vibration and stress. It also demonstrates excellent chemical stability, resisting attack from most corrosive agents.

Ceramic twisted rope FENGITEX® contains organic binders to facilitate the carding process. The binders burn at low temperatures, but without any effect on the special ceramic fibers. It is available in a range of grades and diameters.
